CMD, in collaboration with Istituto Motori – CNR of Naples, the Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Naples Federico II and the Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ is ready with a new scientific paper on the latest studies from the ECO20x CHP system. It will be published in 'Applied Energy', edited by Elsevier, one of the most important international scientific publishing houses.
The paper, entitled "Multi- objective optimization of a syngas powered reciprocating engine equipping a combined heat and power unit", describes the process that leads to multi-objective optimization of a syngas powered reciprocating engine equipping a combined heat and power unit, aimed at finding the operating conditions that can simultaneously affect the quality of the gas coupled with a suitable calibration of the engine to maintain performance, lower fuel consumption and reduce emissions through the use of DoE (design of Experiment) techniques and the use of genetic algorithms.
